Dr. Jaishree dispelled some common hair care fallacies in a previous piece. Oil is a good conditioner, but it doesn’t promote hair growth, according to her. She debunked the prevalent belief that plucking grey hair accelerates greying by causing the roots to lose colour. “Dry shampoo may soak up oil, but it doesn’t clean the scalp,” she added.
